Community Partnership with Vinson Hall and St. Dunstan’s Church

Chesterbrook Elementary values its strong partnerships with Vinson Hall Retirement Community and St. Dunstan’s Church, working together to support local initiatives and foster a sense of community across generations.  Our collaboration with Vinson Hall brings students and seniors together for meaningful, multigenerational activities. These events, from story-sharing to collaborative art projects, build connections and mutual respect.

Student Ambassador Philanthropy Committee

The Student Ambassador Philanthropy Committee leads efforts to support local needs, including partnerships with McLean Share. These young leaders organize drives and initiatives that make a real difference in the community.

School House System - 5 Houses, 1 School Community

At Chesterbrook, our School House System unites students and staff into five houses, fostering camaraderie, school spirit, and a sense of belonging. Together, we are "5 Houses, 1 School Community!".

Purple Star School

As a Purple Star school, Chesterbrook honors military families and veterans with special programs, including a schoolwide Veterans Day Speaker Program. Students gain a deeper appreciation for service and sacrifice through meaningful interactions.
