Congratulations to Health and Physical Education teacher Jay Levesque who was recognized in the Growth Category at the 2018 FCPS Excellence Awards Ceremony for his accomplishments as a lead teacher and Great Beginnings Coach.

Congratulations to Fifth Grade Teacher Madelyn King, Student Information Assistant Dave Troskey, and Fifth Grade Teacher Deanna Sivik who were recognized at the 2019 FCPS Honors Ceremony!

To conclude National Safety Month, Chesterbrook installed safety flags on each side of the road at both of the crosswalks. Pedestrians can grab a flag and use it to help stop traffic so they can safely cross the street in the crosswalk. Flags are to be returned to the bin on either side of the street. Pedestrians should still use proper safety precautions when crossing the street, and remember to look both ways and making sure traffic comes to a complete stop before crossing the street.
